Full registration
If you live within our practice area we will be happy to register you. You
simply need a signed medical card from you. Your medical card is a small
folded card with your details and NHS number , and the name of your
previous doctor inside. There is one for every person. If you have lost or
mislaid your card we can supply you with an application without it.
We operate an open system whereby you are free to consult any of the
doctors you choose, regardless of which one you are actually registered
with.
We do not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, sexual orientation, social class, age, religion or appearance, disability or medical condition.
Temporary registration
If you are going to resident for less than three months you will need to
register as a temporary resident if you need to use any of our services.
Maternity services
Maternity services also require separate registration.
If you leave our area you will need to re-register with another doctor. |
